Why We Love It...

You know how we always say that bubbles make everything better? That’s especially true today! Almost 50% off delectable, smooth, and lush rosé bubbles, good people! Not just any rosé  –  I'm talking about a FIRST GROWTH Provencal estate that goes back to the 10th century! All estate-grown fruit (that's rare for the region) too! So yeah, don’t let us catch you making mimosas with this (unless you plan on inviting us…)!

Nobody does rosé like Provence, nobody. Bubbly? Well, that’s kinda new, but oh my, did the folks at Château Sainte Roseline nail this! This hails from Les Arcs-Sur-Argens, a picturesque hilltop near the bay of Saint-Tropez, surrounded by the Croisette in Cannes, the Gorges du Verdon, and even Aix-en-Provence – it’s basically smack dab in the middle of where I want to be right now – where the Mediterranean Sea meets the glorious vineyards of Provence.

The site has been a piece of local Provencal history since the 10th century, when an abbey was established on site and vines were first planted, with the help of a local natural spring providing irrigation for the vines. In the 13th century, this was the site of the Miracle of the Roses, when Roseline de Villeneuve, the daughter of the local Lord of the Arcs, stole food from the family’s private cellars to feed the poor after a particularly harsh winter. When eventually confronted and forced to reveal her contraband, it transformed into beautiful red roses. She would eventually be canonized in the 19th century, and the estate has been known as Château Sainte Roseline ever since.

These 110 hectares of unbelievably happy vineyards (why wouldn’t they be?!?!) on clay-limestone soils provide 45% grenache, and 35% cinsault, plus a dash of caladoc, mourvèdre, and rolle to make these bubbles shine...and...how they shine, indeed! Bursting, pulsing, flowing with tasty red cherries, and strawberries, and raspberries – followed by a salivating tang of salted watermelon, a nip of pink peppercorn, some sensual lavender, and flowering thyme… oh my, this is everything you want to drink over and over again this summer! At our exceptional low price? Load up. Seriously – you’re gonna want a whole lot of this! While it lasts!
