An alluring rose gold color with a persistent flourish of fine bubbles, the Vauzelle Therme 2013 is a Blanc de Noirs cuvée from a south facing, chalky and calcareous parcel in Aÿ planted in the early 1980’s. It was aged 8 years on fine lees, disgorged April 2022 and finished with zero dosage. Intense and focused aromas of red fruit, nectarine, redcurrant and subtle warm spice into a medium to full-bodied, slightly oxidative palate filled with succulent and juicy red fruit concentration with supple, candescent acid tension around it. Creamy and honeyed, it finishes long with a red apple peel tannic grip. Great food wine. 25022 bottles and 155 magnums produced.
