Champ Caïn Grand Cru 2013 is a Blanc de Blancs produced from a single, south facing plot in Avize with shallow chalky soils that consistently yields exceptional fruit. It was aged 8 years on fine lees, disgorged April 2022 and finished with zero dosage. Aromatically delicate and fine, it floats gently out of the glass with wispy notes of wet crushed rocks, ripe nashi pear, Meyer lemon, chalk dust and verbena blossom. The light to medium-bodied palate is linear, fine-boned, and subtly charged with invigorating acid tension rimming ripe citrus and salty mineral notes throughout the long, refreshing finish. 11,220 bottles and 398 magnums produced.
