Rosé [pronunciation: row-zay]
A champagne or sparkling wine made with a variety of grapes that give the wine its blushed-pink hue. Though pink is so classically rosé, it can be salmon or nearly white in color. There are several methods to make rosé sparklers, including the use of a red dosage and the saignée method. These wines pair well with cheese, salads, poultry, and Asian cuisine.
