Boisset Family Estates is a family-owned wine company that was founded in 1961 by Jean-Claude Boisset. Today, the company is run by Jean-Charles Boisset, the son of Jean-Claude and a renowned wine industry leader in his own right. Boisset Family Estates owns and operates a number of wineries in California and France, and some of their most well-known wineries include Raymond Vineyards, Buena Vista Winery, DeLoach Vineyards, Wattle Creek Winery, and of course, Champagne JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset. Overall, the company is known for its commitment to sustainable and biodynamic farming practices, as well as its dedication to quality winemaking, receiving numerous accolades and awards for its wines.

Each Champagne in the portfolio receives a number in its name to signify something unique about it. This Nº XX Brut represents the number 20 in Roman numerals, as a tribute to the 20 million bubbles found in a bottle of Champagne. Made of 60% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 10% Pinot Meunier, the Pinot Noir and Muenier grapes are pulled from Premier Cru villages in the Vallée de la Marne and Montagne de Reims, while the Chardonnay hails from the Côte des Blancs.
